Monument of poet Simon Gregorčič in Ljubljana (1936-37).

The monument dedicated to the "Nightingale of Gorica," poet Simon Gregorčič, stands in a park area near the Southern Square. Looking from the Gregorčič monument towards the center of the Square of the French Revolution, one can see the Illyrian Monument, which is another of Plečnik's works dating back to 1929.
