Kamniški dedec is a 1583 m high mountain located on the southwestern ridge of the Zeleniške špice above the Kamniška Bistrica Valley, with the Kamniška Bela Valley to the east and Repov kot to the west.
The summit offers excellent views. It is an unmarked and very steep route; the ascent from the junction of the trail to Kamniško sedlo and Repov kot runs through forested terrain. The hike takes approximately 2.5 hours from the Kamniška Bistrica mountain lodge.
